Hello! My name is Cameron Sumpter, and I’m a computer science student with a growing passion for cybersecurity and digital defense. What started as a general interest in technology gradually turned into a fascination with how systems work beneath the surface and how to keep them secure. I enjoy exploring topics like network vulnerabilities, authentication systems, ethical hacking fundamentals, and the logic behind secure software design. As I continue studying, I’ve been prioritizing hands-on learning, experimenting with tools, practicing coding fundamentals, and strengthening my understanding of how real-world systems are built and protected. Outside of academics, I like staying busy with personal goals and hobbies. I enjoy playing games with family, learning new recipes, and finding small ways to challenge myself every day. Recently, I’ve been focusing on improving my skills in areas such as Operating Systems and exploring ethical hacking. My long-term goal is to work in a cybersecurity role where I can combine problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical analysis to help organizations stay protected in a constantly evolving digital world.
